July 13, 2014,
ISA World Congress Venue
It is our pleasure to announce that the Social Movement Confernece will be held on July 13, 2014, in Yokohama, Japan. This is a conference prior to the ISA World Congress, which will also start in the evening of July 13.
The Social Movement Conference is designed for scholars, researchers and students working in the field of social movement to meet and exchange. It is geared toward networking and Asia, as it features a socializing session where participants introduce themselves for future collaborative research, and a session discussing social movements in Asian countries.
We ask a prospective participant to submit a few power-point slides to fully
participate in the socializing session (Session 3 below) . To meet the
requests from many, the deadline for the submission of the slides has been extended to June 20, 2014.
